Wait to use the device until you are safely and legally parked beside the road.
Designate a passenger as a texter while you drive or offer to be the texter if you are a passenger.
Try installing a driving app such as Detext or DriveScribe, which are apps that restrict your ability to text while your vehicle is in motion.
